Cleisocentron kinabaluense
Cleisocentron kinabaluense is restricted to Mount Kinabalu in Sabah, Borneo. It is one of eight accepted species in this genus. It is an epiphyte and found on mossy trees in the shade in a medium-tall moss forest in humid, shaded understories at elevations around 3,000 meters (9,843 feet). In cultivation, Cleisocentron species thrive in pots or baskets with medium-grade epiphyte mix under intermediate to cool temperatures, bright diffuse light, and consistent moisture, making them suitable for orchid enthusiasts seeking unique Asian epiphytes.
