The Orchid Digest is dedicated to protecting your privacy. The Orchid Digest does not sell, or rent, or otherwise disclose subscriber or donor information to any outside party.


Information we collect


The Orchid Digest collects information in two ways:

  • Information you provide online:
    By subscribing to The Orchid Digest, the personal information you volunteer includes your name, mailing and billing addresses, phone number, and e-mail address. Doing so allows you to receive the necessary communications.
  • Information you provide offline:
    When subscribing or donating offline, you will share your e-mail address, physical address, and telephone number. Doing so allows you to receive the necessary communications.


Update your information


Please notify us of changes to your address, title, phone number, or e-mail address by contacting us via e-mail at info@orchiddigest.org or sending the information by mail to PO Box 6966, Laguna Niguel, CA 92607-6966. Please include both your old and new contact information when requesting changes.


Removal of Personal Information


We offer our members and donors the option to have their personal information deleted from our database and donor database or stop receiving our communications. You may do this by contacting us at 
info@orchiddigest.org or sending the notification by mail to PO Box 6966, Laguna Niguel, CA 92607-6966.


Website


Browsing, reading pages, or downloading material from our site does not allow us to collect any information that will identify you personally, or determine your e-mail address. Our web server automatically recognizes the domain name and Internet Protocol (IP) address of each visitor.

Like most major sites, we collect and analyze that information to improve the site. This helps us determine which pages you visit and how long you stay.


Use of Cookies


A cookie is a small data file stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. We currently use cookies only in connection with our online store, and these cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.

The Orchid Digest does not solicit personal information from children.
